Rebekah and Alan got married in Acadia National Park last fall with their closest family and friends and it was perfect! They decided to do a weekend with me, so we did their elopement on the first day and an adventure session on the second day.

On their elopement day, we started out with a cliffside ceremony. Rebekah loves Ireland (hey girlfriend, me too!) and was imagining something that reminded her of Ireland for their ceremony. The spot that we did it at is one of my favorite ceremony spots in Acadia because it’s easily accessible for everyone, yet feels secluded and looks out over the water for miles and miles with rocky shoreline in each direction. We did a quick first look when they arrived, and then started their ceremony. Rebekahs uncle officiated as the rest of the family sat and watched!

That evening, they chartered a boat to take them + all of their loved ones out on the water for a sunset cruise! They had some charcuterie, champagne (always) and we piled in! The captain took us all around the little islands that surround Acadia and they had a beautiful sunset! Charting a boat is a such a fun activities I recommend to my couples eloping in Acadia because Acadia is so much about the water, and if you’re going to spend a few days there, its worth getting on the water and seeing the area from another perspective! Talk about a fun reception!
