Same Sex Engagement Photos in Acadia National Park
I’m so excited to share this same sex engagement session with you today! When A&N reached out, we decided to do their engagement photos at bubble rock in Acadia National Park, among a few other locations. The bubble rock lookout is one of the most beautiful in the entire area, especially in fall. If you like autumn colors, bubble rock gives you a bird’s eye view of the trees!
Since there are so many great locations in Acadia to stop at, we began the day together in other areas of the park and then hiked up to this point.
They really wanted to make their session unique by highlighting the things they enjoy. Here’s what their session looked like from beginning to end!

Engagement photos across Acadia National Park
Since these two are big rock climbers, they originally wanted to do some climbing at Otter Cliffs, but logistics weren’t in our favor that day. Knowing it was a possibility, we had plenty of backup locations and ideas to explore. It was a beautiful fall day otherwise, so we explored a number of easy access locations in the park together.
From the beginning, it was really important to them that their photos reflected who they are. They were really intentional about what they wanted to see during their session so that it felt like just another day exploring together. They love spending time together outdoors, so that is essentially what we focused on!
We visited south Hunters Beach and then hiked up south Bubble Rock for diverse views of the water and woods. They walked and talked and enjoyed the surroundings, which look and feel so different from their Texas home.
Acadia is such a beautiful place for engagement photos, especially in the fall when the colors change!
