Lake Tahoe Hiking Elopement in the Fall
Fall Hiking Elopement | Lake Tahoe Elopement | Elopement Photographer
Alicia and Eric spent their wedding day in the beautiful land of Lake Tahoe. They knew they wanted to enjoy everything the area had to offer and chose to elope in the fall! They wanted to explore Lake Tahoe, spend some time hiking and spend time with their closest family and friends!
They rented a big house overlooking Lake Tahoe for a bunch of people to stay, and it’s also where they got ready! I met up with them to shoot some photos of them as they got ready and of the detail items they’d brought along, when one of my favorite moments from the day happened. Alicia did a first look with her dad and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room including me! It was such a sweet little reveal, and just from their first look, I could tell how much Alicia and her dad meant to each other.
We took a little road trip down the road to get to their ceremony spot. They had a gorgeous little arch set up as well as a little picnic for afterwards of donuts and champagne! After their sweet ceremony, they popped champagne and spent some time with their friends and family. From there, we separated from their family and friends and I took them to a cool hike for their portraits! They wanted to find something that looked a bit like Yosemite for their portraits, and this hike got pretty close for not being in Yosemite! We hiked around, enjoyed the sunset, and they headed off to their reception with their family + friends!
