Chad and I have been craving a trip to the Canadian Rockies to check out Banff National Park and the surround areas for quite some time now. We booked tickets for the end of July and headed out to some of the most beautiful landscapes I’ve set my eyes on.
We were in the mountains for 5 full days, and jammed them pack with activities. We hiked probably 30-40 miles in our time there, woke up for sunrise views, drove to allll the glacier lakes, made new friends, saw a grizzly bear (and a few black bears!) as well as a ton of other wildlife, and overall just had a good dose of the beautiful outdoors.
It wasn’t hard to snap a few stunning landscape photos as there was jaw dropping landscapes everywhere we turned. The lakes were so still that they created beautiful reflections of the tree’s and mountaintops that lined them. And the sunset colors- geeeez! Unreal moments, and I’m already craving to go back.
