Oregon and Washington are two of my favorite states in this country. And Camano Island is one of my favorite locations in Washington! While road tripping around the pacific northwest for a few weeks, I knew I wanted to shoot some adventure sessions.The first couple who were up for it was Evan and Kit.
Evan just happens to be my cousin, also the closest thing I have to a second brother, as well as the person who was by my side in a good chunk of my childhood memories, regardless of living on the opposite coast as me. His girlfriend Kit is pretty much the girl version of him which makes me super excited. They met at their high school, Seattle Prep, but they're both now heading into their junior years of college, Evan at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington, and Kit at the University of Portland.
Our little adventure together consisted of kayaking over to a secluded beach, prancing around driftwood and sand dunes during the most perfect golden hour sunset, and almost losing our kayaks to the tide, before I had to jump in the water to rescue them. But hey, I said adventure, right?!
